We have a local copy of the text as a PDF accessible from your CS account. To make it more convenient for you to access the book, create a link to it in your course directory, by typing the following command at the terminal prompt:

$ ln -s /usr/local/share/pdfs/htdc.pdf ~/cs102/

Once you’ve created a link to the PDF file, you can view it from your CS account with the following command from the terminal prompt:

$ acroread ~/cs102/htdc.pdf&

or you can use your GUI file browser on your desktop to double-click on your cs102 course directory, then double-click on the file htdc.pdf
