Hi, Briefly, no, emacspeak won't install the operating system for you. It won't even install Emacs for you. You need to have a Linux distro installed first. How you partition your hard drive is not a factor insofar as Emacspeak is concerned. Once you install your OS, you can either use the distro's package for Emacs and emacspeak or you can get the source code for Emacspeak and install it from there. You will need to have Emacs installed first. How to do that is a whole separate subject though.
