A quick search of the web (did you try it?) revealed a web site at
http://www.wonderworks.com/vm/ containing the FAQ as well as links to
relevant ftp download directories.

There was recent discussion on this list of how to deactivate the error
that vm signals if it detects Emacs 20.3; a review of the list archives
would reveal the pertinent details.

Altavista is quite a good search engine which makes it easier to track
down such information.
Another reliable service is http://www.dejanews.com/ which provides
archives of Usenet news groups.
