Research

My research interests lie in the general areas of networking and distributed systems. My research is applied and experimental in nature. I design protocols, create prototypes and evaluate them in realistic environments. I have largely focused on Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks up to this point. Vehicular networks wirelessly connect vehicles amongst themselves and with roadside infrastructure, with the goals of improving traffic safety and efficiency, as well as providing entertainment to passengers.
