Special Track on AI and Software Engineering
Call For Papers
Software Engineering is an important and popular focus
of AI research, as it is fraught with practical real-world problems that
in many cases are ideally suited for AI techniqes. Knowledge Representation,
Theorem Proving, Genetic Algorithms, Domain Modeling, and Cognitive Studies
are just a few among the many disciplines of AI that have useful application
within the scope of Software Engineering. In addition, the success of
many of these AI approaches in addressing Software Engineering problems
is beginning to draw attention within the traditional Software Engineering
community.
The AI&SE special track at FLAIRS-98
encourages submissions on any research using AI techniques to solve
software engineering problems.
