Her remaining tuition will be paid and Cait will have a civilian job at the Naval Surface Wartime Center in Dahlgren, Virginia when she graduates. Vassar CS majors **Jamee Bateau'12, Elianne Schutze'12, Plamen Ivanov'11,** and **Stanton Wong'11** who participated in the Summer 2010 Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU). These students accompanied Jenny Walter, Associate Professor of Computer Science, to Texas A&M to work in Professor Nancy Amato's Parasol Robotics Laboratory and produced posters which hang in the departmental area. Stanton's poster presentation earned an award! **Prairie Rose Goodwin'12, Gregory Katz'11** and **Jesse Stuart'13** who collaborated with Barry Jones, Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science, on "Musical Artificial Intelligence" participating in Undergraduate Research Summer Institute (URSI) on the Vassar campus. They produced a poster which is currently displayed in the departmental area. **Kristen Schau'12** who was awarded a paid internship with Freddie Mac in McLean, VA from May 24 to August 6, 2010 as a "Business Technology Intern." Kristen notes that the opportunity arose because she had her resume along for the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computer Science. **Eric Estes'11** who was hired as a webmaster intern with Google's mobile team for the summer in Mountain View, CA. **Jacqueline Kory'11** who opted for the 10-week NASA LARSS program from among a wealth of great summer opportunities offered to her. She spent her summer at Langley, working on flying robots, such as helicopters and blimps, in the Autonomous Vehicle Lab of Mr. Garry Qualls. **Cordelia McGee-Tubb'11** who was a paid Software Development Engineer Intern with Salesforce at the company's headquarters in San Francisco. Salesforce contacted her after reviewing the resume she gave to recruiters at the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing. **Alex Middeleer'11** who worked as a paid intern with Nancy Ide, Professor of Computer Science, this summer developing programming tools that help with her linguistics research. **Veronica Swain'11** who participated in the Washington University Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) Summer 2010 Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program in St. Louis, MO. **Nii Yeboah'11** who did research in Atlanta, GA for the summer in the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering. Nii explored new uses for computer modeling and simulation and prepared a poster documenting his work. */ TO OUR ALUMS: **Arjun Agarwala'10** who, following an internship at Citigroup's Investment Bank in New York City, in the summer of his junior year, will be returning to them full time. Arjun will serve as an analyst in the investment bank's telecommunications coverage group. **Zachary Pattison-Gordon'10** who is now an application support programmer for Kenshoo, a global innovator in search engine marketing technology. **Sonia Roberts'10** who presented both a talk and poster at the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology conference in January on her biorobotics research with Professor Long. **Philip Tully'10** who will be studying Computational Neuroscience and Neuroinformatics in Sweden starting in September funded through the Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctoral Fellowship: European Study Programme in Neuroinformatics (EuroSPIN), at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden and the University of Edinburgh in Edinburgh, UK to get a joint PhD in Computer Science. **Nikki Rosard'08** who is now a Quality Assurance Engineer at Lime Wire, LLC in Manhattan, NY. **David Dunne'07** whose company, Riot Games, just received two more Game of the Year Awards from IGN, for Best Multiplayer Game of 2009 and Best Strategy Game of 2009. **Tai Shimizu'07** been spending all his after-work hours since January working on his iPad photo editing application, Filterstorm ( http://filterstorm.com ), which reached number 1 in the photography section of the iPad app store (as well as number 39 in the top 100 free applications) in early May.
