Install this program and then install the windows version of dr scheme.

Install x2go on your macbook and then connect to the virtual desktop. One advantage here is that you don't have to copy files that you create, that is, they will be in your $HOME directory the next time you log into one of the linux machines in SP309 or the Asprey lab in SP.
