emacspeak and eamacs 23 again

I just tried using emacspeak with emacs 23 compiled from cvs
2008-03-28. Actually, I recompiled today's emacs-snapshot package for
ubuntu gutsy. dbus support is disabled. I am running emacs on the
linux console. I get the previously mentioned error when doing C-n or C-p:

ad-Orig-next-line: Variable binding depth exceeds max-specpdl-size

As the problem appears to be in emacs, are the emacs devels aware of it?

I do not really need emacs 23 at this point but I am curious to see
what the new unicode support is like.
