a question and/or a warning

I recently recompiled emacspeak under emacs 24.1.1 as distributed by
fedora. I'm now getting lots of invalid byte code warnings when trying
to load things. It's wider than emacspeak but obviously more serious
for those of us who rely on emacspeak. I doubt it's an emacspeak
problem since a bug has been filed at bugzilla.redhat.com (851788)
with a similar problem in another package. I'd advise keeping a backup
of your emacspeak tree if you propose to remake and might be in this
position.
regards
Peter
