Make Emacspeak Handle Right Single Quotation Mark Like Apostrophe When Reading By Line

Hi,

Is there an idiomatic way of doing this? When there is a text like this:

I’d taken off my boots so they wouldn’t squeak.

On the Mac, Emacspeak reads this as:

I, d taken off my boots so they wouldn, t squeak.
