Managing multiple buffers and background tasks with Emacspeak



Use C-e q  --emacspeak-toggle-speak-messages to temporarily
turn off messages.

However, a much better solution for doing batch downloads is
to use gnu wget from a shell buffer --rather than let W3 do
the download --
