esound ... almost




Well, eSound almost does it, but yes, the outloud driver would need
to be either compiled to use esound, or set to output the sound to
stdout and pipe it through esdcat;  this doesn't seem impossible and
it would really extend the utility of the ViaVoice emacspeak package.
