Question on compatible hardware

I know the doubletalk pc and LT work with emacspeak, but what abou the new
RC8650 chipset from rcsys.com? and specifically the Eval kit, which is
almost half the cost of a Doubletalk LT, with almost all the same
functionality.. on paper at least.
