small problem

how od i display a page with tables in w3?
i'm hearing all the rows and columns not as rows but like:
intruduction news
(news is some sort of link on the other side or another column)
go to google, search for ange-ftp tutorial and then the second one (as of now) is the emacs beginners howto.
how should i display this file in w3? i've had to go back to my screen reader and use edbrowse since it displays it no probs.
sorry for asking so many questions but i'm learning.
