Hi all....

I'm having a pesky annoyance with a timeout error message when emaxspeak starts up. I've attached a file that includede a full description of the problem, and, hopefully, adequate debug info. I would appreciate it if one of you bright folks could look at this, and let me know where the problem might be located.
