Shure you must do that !
fredm> What´s the diference between festival and festvox?
Festival is only the speech engine (not exactly but
in a first time it's enough to know that)
but it needs voices (phonem librairies and such
       things) to function.
fredm> What should I do? I´m new in that list.
If your machine is powerful enough I strongly recommend
to you to use festival. But you'll soon notice that
the lisp code provided by festival is not
enough to obtain a good sound feed back.
If you've time have a look at my web page where
I explain how to use other tools :
       http://www.pollock-nageoire.net/festival/
(do not forget the / at the end !).

       Best regards

       Pierre
