Re: emacspeak on windows

Hi all,

I have a mostly working speech server using microsoft sapi.

it is written in perl.

Sounds good with the cepstral voices. Was having some flow control problems so re-wrote it to use threads. Works great from a dos box but not when launched from emacs. There must be some oddity with perl/emacs and threads. haven't tracked it down yet.

Happy to give a copy of either version to anyone interested.
