One of the nice things about how emacspeak is set up is that there is a
layer between the speech engine and the code that generates voices that
provides a mapping between the configuration and the codes expected by
the speech engine.  Therefore, this will work for all speech engines
that support multiple voices and for which an interface has been
written.
