Re: turning on auditory icons



Hi, the auditory icons are wav samples. The problem isn't your soundcard but
stiosynth.I've not been able to get stiosynth working on Red Hat 8.0 either,
but that is the problem with why you are not getting auditory sounds.
You need to grab the stiosynth package off of the emacspeak site, but
getting it  to work is another matter.
