Re: Emacspeak still fails after unicode merge

Even following Tim Cross's suggestions, Emacspeak still fails. I always
see the error

ad-Orig-next-line: Variable binding depth exceeds max-specpdl-size

max-specpdl-size is 1040, the default although when I ran M-x
customize-variable on it, the size was said to be 1120. (By adding a
zero, I increased the size by a factor of ten. That had no success.)

I am very puzzled.

I made various builds; finally as suggested by "Tim Cross"
<tcross@xxxxxxxxxxx>, in an rxvt shell, I ran

    pushd /usr/local/src/emacs-08feb29
    cvs update
    time make distclean
    time ./configure --enable-font-backend --prefix=/usr/local
time make bootstrap ;; took 95 min
    popd

and then

    pushd /usr/local/src/emacspeak/
    svn update
    make clean
    make config SRC=`pwd`
    make emacspeak
    popd

with this morning's snapshots of both Emacs and Emacspeak. Both built
without error.

Then I ran

  /usr/local/src/emacs-08feb29/src/emacs -q --no-site-file \
      -l /usr/local/src/emacspeak/lisp/emacspeak-setup.el

and it failed. I thought it would succeed, but it didn't.
