Capitalization with eSpeak

I've got Emacspeak working well with eSpeak, but right now I'm hearing
the word "cap" being spoken before every word with a capital letter in
it. In the servers/espeak file I see references to pitch and beeps.
What's the best way to change the capitalization behaviour with
Emacspeak and eSpeak? I've Googled around a bit and looked through some
Emacspeak documentation, but I haven't found anything yet. Thanks for
your help and pointers.
