emacspeak-webspace-feed-reader problem, probably my setup

This looks like a very useful package. Unfortunately it's not working
for me at the moment.
the command brings up the expected interaction buffer with the list
from TVR's default feeds. Hitting tab brings me to the BBC news.
Return produces a buffer with:
----------------------------------------------------------------------

warning: failed to load external entity "2" unable to parse 2
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It doesn't throw an elisp error when I toggle-debug-on-error
so it's presumably happening in the external xslt magic

I did check that, for example:
(emacspeak-xslt-get "rss.xsl")
Does return an existing filepath.
This is with emacs 24.2.1.x86_64 with emacspeak rev 8777. I have been
playing around in emacspeak-org and emacspeak-table-ui but I hope
that's not relevant.

I'm betting this is something I'm missing in my setup, probably to do
with xslt processing, but I'm not seeing anything obvious in the
"*-prepare.el" files in tvr.
I'll delve further if necessary but suggestions of where to look would
be welcome.
cheers
Peter
