How to listen to every character of C++ code

Hi,

I have started using emacspeak, it is a great project! But I am trying to use it for C/C++ development where I need to hear the exact case-sensitive spelling of the whole line. For example, it would say "p r i n t f" instead of "printf". Is there a way to enable this in emacspeak? This is the one feature blocking me from using emacspeak all day!
