Could you be more specific about what you want minicom to do? and what
is it that you have already done?

As you know, emacspeak does not cause other programs to talk. Rather
it allows the user to have spoken feedback based on what happens
inside emacs.

If memory serves, minicom is a terminal based program, so you will
most likely want to use M-x term <ret> to make things work.
