braille n speak?

Hi all

from the Emacspeak HOWTO (v1.4, 21 December 1997) on sunsite:

    There is an alpha test version of a driver for the Braille 'n
    Speak, Braille Lite, and Type 'n Speak devices used in "speech
    box" mode:

Could anyone tell me *how* alpha the Braille n Speak driver is at 
this point, or whether there is an associated website?
