not changing vocabularies is anothe important point.

Gary criticizes the Emacspeak FAQ for talking about frames
and buffers --in his tutorial he went off and used "frame"
to mean something entirely different.
That's like the average American tourist going to Rome and
asking "why cant these Italians just spea English":-)

if you teach a student, make sure he/she can grow --and to
grow the student is better off learning the terms the way
they are used in the rest of the system.
This also means that as the student gets over the initial
hump he/she can become independent and just use the regular
documentation.

Otherwise you get Microsoft Bob with a paper clip stuck to
its ear.
