In the vm distribution there should be a file called vm-vars.el or,
possibly, vm-vars.el.gz, which lists all of the user-configurable
variables. Searching through that file reveals full details on how to
specify POP inboxes.

Also, have you considered using Fetchmail instead? Fetchmail can
automatically retrieve your mail periodically (e.g., every five
minutes) and place it in your local mail folder (usually
/var/mail/username or /var/spool/mail/username). For outgoing mail I
suggest configuring your mail transport agent (Sendmail or whatever it
may be) to use your ISP's mail server as a "smart host".

To unsubscribe from the emacspeak list or change your address on the
emacspeak list send mail to "emacspeak-request@cs.vassar.edu" with a
subject of "unsubscribe" or "help"
