outloud on rh8

Hello,
	Does anyone have outloud running on rh8? I've got emacspeak 17.0
installed as well as the viavoice runtime and sdk. When i run the
command:
tcl /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/emacspeak/servers/outloud this is what i
get:

Error: couldn't load file
"/usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/emacspeak/servers/linux-outloud/tcleci.so":
/usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/emacspeak/servers/linux-outloud/tcleci.so:
undefined symbol: __gxx_personality_v0
    while executing
"load $tclTTS/tcleci.so"
    (file "/usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/emacspeak/servers/outloud" line
290)

I have installed tclx, and ran make in
/usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/emacspeak/linux-servers/outloud and that ran
without any errors. 
	Any suggestions?
