Starting emacspeak with Festival

Hi...
I'm trying to get the following combo running:

Redhat 8.0
Festival 1.4.2
Emacpeak 17.0.1
Emacs 21.2
Alsa 0.5.12a

The sound system and festival all test ok.

How do I tell emacspeak ot use the festival synth?  I can't seem to find anything in the docs or recent listings.

Please advise.
