Hi all,

I have no experience with flite 1.3, but the "Whats's new in 1.3"
information does not claim any signifcant improvements in speech
quality. In general, make sure you build flite with a 16k voice, for
example:

./configure --with-vox=cmu_us_kal16

The Debian package of flite is built like this.
