Re: Terminal program



1) I would definitely recommend trying kermit -I know it works happily under
eterm.

2) I don't know why eterm does not bind Esc the way Sam recommends in his
message --personally I dont see any ill effect from doing that. However, I do
manage to send escape to programs like vi running under eterm by hitting Esc
twice.

3) As Sam advised, definitely take some time to learn eterm review mode--
it should take a lot less time than learning a typical dos screenreader and it
will prove worthwhile.

I use eterm all the time when working from home, --I typically set up a ppp
connection to work and rlogin to my sparc at work and  never have trouble
running screen sessions at the remote end.
