xemacs and emacspeak.



This is not an emacspeak problem-- it is a problem with your xemacs
install and you should ask for help elsewhere to sort it out--
perhaps comp.xemacs.

And no-- Jim Van Zandt's message about "using the Dibion Emacspeak
package" wont help you-- that package contains compiled elisp binaries
built by gnu emacs and will not work with Xemacs.

I have verified that the emacspeak source distribution builds and
works correctly with xemacs; But if you're an emacs novice as it
appears, I suggest you avoid spending your time and that of the rest
of the folks on this list playing around with xemacs.

If you do continue to make progress with xemacs and emacspeak I would
be happy to hear about it--
