Just letting everyone using Debian know that the patch for VM I got from the emacs-snapshot maintainer has fixed the problem. So, if your running Debian and using the emacs-snapshot package and find that you cannot upgrade to the latest version, emacs-snapshot-20070208-1, then you need to apply that patch to VM.
