Espeak with Emacspeak 25

Hello,
	I was wondering if any difficulties might arise if I wanted to 
use Emacspeak 25 with Espeak.  Could I just copy the Emacspeak server 
from the 26 distrubution to the /usr/share/emacspeak/ directory, or 
where ever?  (25.0 is the only version packaged with Gentoo Linux at 
this point, and I'm afraid of trying to mess too much with the internal 
packaging system by adding 26 on my own.)
