Or you can just run Fetchmail with the keep option, and filter incoming mail
into various folders with Procmail. All of this occurs outside Emacs so that
when you run Gnus, Vm or whatever you choose, it can access all of your mail
locally (no waiting around for network connections when you start reading
mail).
