Larry -

The emacspeak set rate command expects as an argument the desired rate
in words per minute.  You probably want something like 225.  If that
does not work, please use the "testit" script and mail me the log.
You might also want to download the 0.7 version from the blinux ftp
site (though I don't remember any changes that affect the Accent).
