In addition, make sure you read the Emacs FAQ --accessed via
C-h F (that's capital F)
and the Emacs FAQ --accessed as C-e F (again cap F)

And before you start lecturing me on "how is one to know
that ...",
when you build Emacspeak it finishes by telling you to do
the above.

The Emacspeak FAQ has a section specifically targetted at
the screenreader user who is switching to Emacspeak --it's
important to read and understand that document in order to
come at Emacspeak with the right mindset.
