TCL problem with dtk-exp server

Hi
I have been trying to get emacspeak 10 running on another Linux pc.

I needed to install tcl and did this from the tcl8.0.3.tar.gz  source.

I am still having problems with the speech server and tcl.  I get the
following error when I run the DecTalk server directly with:

tcl dtk-exp

Set port to /dev/ttyS0
invalid command name "fcntl"
    while executing
"fcntl $tts(read) nobuf 1"
    (file "dtk-exp" line 572)


Any help welcomed.
