Re: [Online book: Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs]

The video taped lectures that go with this book are also online. They were
given by Hal Abelson and Gerry Sussman at MIT in 1986.
The url is http://64.64.103.140/index.html
There are two groups of links near the bottom of that page one for
streaming realmedia and one
for download. Look below the heading
1986 MIT Lectures: Structure & Interpretation of Computer Programs, Hal
Abelson and Gerry Sussman.

These lectures are quite excellent. I wish I had been there.

Reputed to be a classic; apparently used at MIT in introductory
computer science courses, and might be of interest to Emacspeak users
and others who want to learn programming. I plan to read it when I can
find the time.

Jason.
