Re: W3 issues.



hi.. i am having w3 problems as well although i did get it to at least
install and be able to look up a web page..actually reading it is a
different story... this is what i did...
download w3.tar.gz then unpacked to /usr/local after that cd to the new dir
and type ./configure.  when done with that type make install. now since
(they say never run emacspeak as root) but i to a point calmly ignore that
fact since i am having some emacspeak problems and have to run it as root
sometimes... anyways.. if you are root then you su to your normal user name
and type make dotemacs (at least it worked for me).  i dont know past that
what to do because strangely enough i had to let emacspeak and the whole
linux system sit idle for almost 1 week before it started working...fear it
it has a mind of its own!! hehe anyways hope that works...
