Thank you Per, 
	I have downloaded the ViaVoice rpm's from the above site. Hope Doug
read the mail also.

I run Debian so have converted the files to .deb with alien. All I need now
is to learn how to use emacs :-((

Thanks again. BTW the IBM sites are SNAFU'd ,rechecked there.
